Introducing Wasilla Chiropractor, Dr. Stacey Lowe

Dr. Stacey Lowe and family

"I had no idea what I was getting into!  Taking a job in a Chiropractic office was different than anything I had experienced before but I was excited to learn about 'alternative' health care.  Over the next couple of years I witnessed miracles taking place.  Kids getting adjusted when they had ear infections and their ears draining.  People being carried in because they were in so much pain and than watching them walk out!  And, after receiving care myself, my allergies cleared up and the 2 year battle I had with allergy medications and antibiotics ended.  That is when I decided that I wanted to be a Chiropractor and help others change their lives!"

Dr. Lowe attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward California and was impressed with the education she received.  After completing the 4 year curriculum that included anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, radiology, diagnosis, and patient care protocol she realized that her education taught her something else as well.  "I walked away from school with a profound understanding of how amazing the human body really is!  The nervous system controls and regulates every cell in the body and as a Chiropractor, I am going to be able to help make sure this system works so that people have a higher level of function.  Wow!"   She couldn't wait to get back to Alaska and share her knowledge and aspirations with the families of the Valley and her office has been serving families since 2004.

"Our office is very inviting and friendly.  We have a lot of families here so there is a big playroom and a library of books that offer information on health and wellness issues.  Sharing healthy habits with our children is a way for families to interact with each other but also helps them grow to be healthier and happier people!" (Ask us for more information about Chiropractic care for pregnant moms and children).

She recently married Daryl, a fellow Rotarian, and together they are very active in their community. She has a one year old stepdaughter who keeps them on their toes! They are avid Iditarod followers and also enjoy camping, biking, lots of fishing, and watching hockey.

"I am fortunate to have discovered Chiropractic and the approach to holistic health.  Regular adjustments, massage therapy and a positive attitude keep me going so that I can provide care to those seeking a better life. Oh, and regular adjustments keep Daryl moving better on the ice!"

Dr. Stacey Asks some important questions of interest to Wasilla residents - Chiropractor Wasilla Dr. Stacey Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Wasilla residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Wasilla chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
